Coach Amara Mbionwu
Born in Washington DC and a Maryland native, I’ve been an athlete almost my whole life. I played basketball in middle and high school, as well as in college at Columbia University. While doing my masters at Adelphi University, I discovered the sport of netball and currently play for the USA Netball team. Along with being an athlete, I’m currently an oral surgeon assistant, basketball coach, TrueSport Ambassador, dog mom, and assistant kettlebell instructor. My goal within the next few months is to apply to dental school, with the hopes of becoming an oral and maxillofacial radiologist.
